Rivendell’s founding principle is our deep connection with community; we seek to maintain and develop community and parental partnerships that will further engage students in their learning as well as contribute to community need.

RISD firmly believes that the school district, its offerings and buildings belong to the community. Indeed, parent and community involvement is essential to the success of its students, staff and district and is a featured goal of Rivendell’s Action Plan. Many opportunities exist to get involved with the district and we encourage an active parent/community voice.
